• Federalism and the balance of local, state and federal power.
• Political ideology and factors of socialization.
• Factors that motivate political participation and what disenfranchises certain groups.
• Political subculture through a case study: Hip Hop

 Today we will examine one linkage institution--->INTEREST GROUPS.
